In the spirit of mutual assistance and collaboration, the Workers Educational Association Newcastle upon Tyne Branch and APTT jointly organised a social Day Out on Saturday June 14th 2003. This was for adult students taking part in WEA or APTT courses. Twenty-four students travelled by coach from Newcastle to Castle Howard in North Yorkshire on a very sunny June day, and spent the afternoon looking at some of the spectacular architecture, scenery and art work that is part of the Castle Howard estate. The following photographs commemorate the event. An excellent time was had by all!
