General Downloads

As a service to the adult education community, a copy of an APTT 'PLATO' programme course module is available below.
This is the full course outline of 'Teaching In Adult Community Education' (TIACE), which is currently running on Tyneside.

This course looks at interactive teaching methods, and has a holistic assessment system addressing key areas of the FENTO standards. Its outlook is based upon situated learning, and it encourages adult education tutors to emphasise the building of communities of practice within their work and that of their students.

The course is available to those institutions and individuals who can show that it will be of value to them, and who will undertake NOT duplicate it or to provide it in competition with APTT. The course outline is freely available to APTT members.

This file is a self-extracting archive. It contains an encrypted copy of the compiled HTML version of the outline.
You MUST contact the APTT Secretary for the decryption password in order to be able to view or print the materials!
