'Assessment Without Tears' Training Day

This particular training day took place at Heaton Adult Education Centre, Trewhitt Road, Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne (UK). This is the second time this event has taken place, but the first at this venue. It was taught by Margaret A. Bell and Bob Groves, and attracted fifteen students from a wide variety of adult and further education providers, coming from many locations across the North East of England (some as far apart as Hexham and Durham). The day looked at methods of informally assessing adult in a wide variety of learning situations. A good time was had by all and much fun arose from the activities that everyone took part in throughout the day. The event was also visited by APTT Internal Inspector, Joyce Ennis (see photo 1).
